A New Digital Home for Nature: The TVNP Website is Live!
The Tees Valley Nature Partnership (TVNP) is proud to announce the launch of our brand-new website. Designed as the central digital hub for nature recovery across our region, the site offers a fresh way to explore our local initiatives and see how we are bringing together over 40 partner organisations to create a healthier, more resilient future for our wildlife and communities.
A Partnership in Transition
This launch comes at an exciting time of strategic growth. The TVNP is currently refining its approach to collaboration to ensure we are best placed to meet the environmental challenges of the future. While our new site already serves as a vital resource, it remains a work in progress; we are working hard behind the scenes to populate it with even more data, toolkits, and project updates in the coming months.
Our Core Focus
Our mission is to ensure a healthy natural environment is at the heart of every decision in the Tees Valley. The new website showcases how we deliver this through five strategic areas:
Partnership and Collaboration: We provide a trusted regional platform where industry, regulators, local authorities, and community groups share knowledge and develop joint solutions for a stronger, more effective network.
Nature Recovery and Natural Assets: From the unique habitats of the Tees Estuary to our vital urban green spaces and wetlands, we support the protection and restoration of the region’s diverse landscapes.
Investment and Project Development: We work with partners to create "investment-ready" environmental projects, unlocking the public and private funding needed to support both nature recovery and sustainable economic growth.
Industry and Environment Collaboration: As one of the UK’s most important industrial regions, we strengthen the link between economic resilience and environmental protection, developing practical solutions for sustainable development.
Communities, Access and Engagement: Nature is essential to our wellbeing. We support initiatives that improve access to local sites and help people across our hills, coastline, and towns build a deeper connection with the natural world.
Looking Forward
The Tees Valley is home to extraordinary landscapes. By making our work more accessible, we hope to inspire more people to help us achieve our vision: "More Nature for More People Across the Tees Valley."
We invite you to explore our new digital home and check back regularly as we continue to shape the future of the partnership.
